Soooo, what the heck is a girl who studied voice and piano and dance and performing doing owning a boutique Social Media Strategy and Agency biz?!
Truth is, I’ve been helping individuals and small businesses find their social zing ⚡️in social media, blogging and digital marketing for over 8 years.
Here’s how it started… I had just been laid off from a corporate singing gig. My hubs and I decided that if I could work mostly at home and gig on the weekends, it would be better for our young son and family. My music studio, The Las Vegas Voice Teacher began to grow, I was performing with Dangerous Curves (my all girl vocal jazz trio) and doing corporate gigs as a singing pianist. The social media stuff? It started out as side hustle… you know?

I’d share my so-called secrets with them and then find gifts or wine (they must really know me 😆) or public thank yous on Facebook.
THEN!!! My friend said "hey will you just DO my social media for me?" OH MY GOSH, my first retainer client!!
After this, I started taking The Social Butterfly Group seriously. As in, no-longer-a-side-hustle but def an income stream.
I would (and still do, btw) read and research for hours every week as the platforms started to ramp up their updates. Aggregating all the info for clients is weirdly fun! I already did that for gigs and music theory stuff so it felt totally natural. #GoogleismyBestie
I bought courses and devices and apps… OH MY LORD ALLLL THE APPS!! 🤯
Sooooo now? I have 2 business coaches, a life coach, a music coach, and a schedule that is soooo crazy and sooo energizing! ⚡️
HOW IS THIS MY LIFE?! 😭 I love it so much. I am so happy I thank the Universe every single day. 🙏
The pandemic/lockdowns REALLY made my biz take off. I was helping organizations take their conferences online, performers get themselves into streaming, helped a college create an online graduation ceremony, alllll the device and app strategizing and helping. It was an incredible, wacky time.
So now? My music studio is rocking, my gig life is fab, I am a talent agent with a major west coast agency, my podcast 𝕪𝕠𝕦𝕣 𝕔𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕧𝕖 𝔾𝗣𝕊 is going strong, I have clients all over the world and my boys are the pillars of my life.
Is life perfect? Clearly, I’ve reached nirvana! 🦄🌈🧘♀️
Ummm, noooooo. I still have SO MUCH TO LEARN and SO MUCH SHIZ to fix and work on...
I want to be completely transparent about that… and yet! That’s the fun! That’s the journey of life and learning and I’m ALLLL IN.
I have NEVER made more money and had more fun working in my life… I want to share what I’m doing and how I’m doing it so you learn from my mistakes, grow your own streams of income and (I hope!) you are inspired by my c̶r̶a̶z̶i̶n̶e̶s̶s̶ courage!
